EvacuationI still remember the news stories that appeared on the Television. A lot of people, a lot of 'specialists' made outrageous claims as to how to survive this pandemic. "Go north," they would say. "Go to your church. They can't go there," some had said. "Every man for himself. Trust no one," one had said. "Stop going outside and wait for the military to clean this mess up in a week," a few would say. Well, at least that last one had some truth to it. Two of the options the Government had laid forth to people was to either board up your home, or head to the nearest emergency evacuation center. The later is what I had chosen to do.Evacuation

Ashes landed on the metal flooring. Damn all to Hell if he didnt get his glory before this war was over. Lieutenant Colonel Kipper licked the cigar in his mouth and waited. Two minutes until we leave the safe zone, a voice over the radio said. Specialist Grizz, the soldier next to Kipper, woke up from his nap. The Lt. Colonel didnt glance over to him. Kipper was to lead a covert operation consisting of eight four-man chalks behind

Short RU teaser Fire rained down amongst the soldiers as if delivered by a blazing inferno. Their cover, their metal barriers, was the only thing that kept them safe from becoming a medium rare steak. They were trainees; recruits, Elite Marines not yet ripe for picking. Their armor wasnt built yet. Hell, it wasnt even designed yet, leaving them open to the ungrateful world. The only things these recruits had were urban camouflage pants and flame-retardant bulletproof vests. There were four men still in this sector, each of them strong and determined to halt the enemy attack. GrieveShort RU teaser

Recollections, Pt IV Hes late. I wonder if he was caught up again. Four old walls surrounded Left and the smeet, two of them being completely glass. One window was open, although it faced another building. The other overlooked a large section of street where a gathering of irkens protesting some war had caused it to be blocked off. Not that it mattered though since the there werent any vehicles that traveled on the streets as the main form of locomotion were personal cruisers. The streets were only for those who were walking to their destinations; a giant sidewalk really. &nRecollections, Pt IV

Recollections Pt. III It was the same room he awoke in. That same, old, crusted medical room. Master Yan-Ti had him sitting down on his rear, facing away from those two red-eyed irkens always hanging around the older one. He could feel the old irken digging around his PAK. He didnt know what he was doing, and it made him nervous. He may like what this group has done to him, but theyre messing around with his PAK. Its what makes him tick, what makes him breath. Are they going to remove it, or destroy it? Anakras couldnt help but shake from fear of the unknown. You wonRecollections Pt. III

Frenchy starts walking down the street; to the right side of the screen. He passes by a park with a cannon on a stand. He stops near an old man sitting at a bench and waves to him; the old man waves back. (The old man could be a possible recurring character) In the background, Lance, Steve, and Matt walk to the left smiling. (Frenchy continues walking towards the right side of the screen. He stops by a hotdog vendor, and buys a hotdog. In the

Backdrop Short Maybe Ill sleep on my grave tonight. The words were softly spoken more as a statement than a question in a tone only suitable to be whispered into the ear of a loved one. A single flame danced from the candle placed elegantly atop the crescent-carved tombstone, its light illuminating the soft face of a man lying on the hardened earth of the recently filled grave. The sky was free of a single cloud that might have spelled depression in the mans mind. The stars in the sky bared no oppression of offending light that would dare hide its elegance and myBackdrop Short
